Internet service in the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region will be gradually restored following nearly six months of closure after the deadly July riot in the capital, the region's information office said on Tuesday.
Six sentenced to death over Xinjiang riot
Six people who were convicted of murder and other crimes in the deadly riot in Xinjiang in July were condemned to death by a court Monday in a first-instance trial, and one person was sentenced to imprisonment for life.
