PARIS, Feb. 6 (Xinhua) -- At least six people, including a child, were slightly injured after a grenade exploded Friday afternoon in a beauty salon in the southeastern French city of Grenoble, local media reported.
According to French outlet Actu Grenoble, two suspects allegedly entered the shop, threw a grenade inside and fled the scene. Witnesses reported hearing screams followed by a loud explosion.
Six people with minor injuries, including a 5-year-old child, were treated by firefighters but did not require hospitalization, it noted.
Emergency services and police were deployed in large numbers, and the criminal investigation department has launched an investigation, it said. ■
