KABUL, April 13 (Xinhua) -- Afghanistan and Uzbekistan have inked 38 trade agreements worth 520 million U.S. dollars to bolster economic relations between the two neighboring central Asian nations, reported a local media outlet, Ariana News, on Monday.
The agreements were recently signed in a meeting between the private sectors of both countries held in Kabul, the private media outlet said.
According to Afghan Minister for Industry and Commerce Nooruddin Azizi, Afghanistan is a good market for Uzbekistan's products, and in the meantime, economic relations have been flourishing between the two nations and the post-war country can export its products to Uzbek markets.
The volume of trade between the two neighboring nations, according to the Afghanistan Chamber of Commerce and Investment, reaches around 1.5 billion U.S. dollars annually. ■
