YANGON, March 20 (Xinhua) -- Two people died and three were injured in a car crash in eastern Myanmar, according to the Myanmar Fire Services Department on Wednesday.
The accident happened around 7:30 a.m. local time on Wednesday in Mong Yawng town, Shan State.
The car lost control and plunged into the Myhan creek.
Of the five individuals aboard, two men were pronounced dead at the scene, while three women were injured, an official from Shan State traffic police told Xinhua.
Emergency responders transported all the victims to the local hospital for medical treatment, he added. ■
