KUALA LUMPUR, Feb. 8 (Xinhua) -- The Malaysian central bank said Thursday that its international reserves stand at 114.8 billion U.S. dollars as of Jan. 31.

The reserves slipped 0.26 percent as compared to 115.1 billion dollars as of Jan. 15, Bank Negara Malaysia said in a statement.

The reserves level has taken into account the quarterly foreign exchange revaluation changes, the statement said.

The reserves position is sufficient to finance 5.4 months of imports of goods and services, and is 1 time of the total short-term external debt, it said.
