YANGON, Dec. 30 (Xinhua) -- Myanmar's manufactured goods export exceeded 6.67 billion U.S. dollars in the first nearly nine months of the 2023-24 fiscal year, according to the Ministry of Commerce on Saturday.
The figure recorded between April 1 and Dec. 22 this year was down from over 8.36 billion dollars registered in the same period a year ago, the ministry's data showed.
The country's manufactured goods export earnings during the period this year comprise over 2.45 billion dollars from the government sector and over 4.22 billion dollars from the private sector, showed the figures.
Among export products, manufactured goods are on top in foreign revenue earnings, followed by agricultural products and other products.
Myanmar mainly exports agricultural, animal and marine products, minerals, forest products and manufactured goods to its foreign trade partners, including China, Thailand, Bangladesh and India, according to the ministry. ■
