HONG KONG, April 9 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 jolted Nicobar Islands, India region at 10:31:20 GMT on Sunday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 8.924 degrees north latitude and 93.9567 degrees east longitude. ■
