MEXICO CITY, Oct. 25 (Xinhua) -- Atlas stayed in touch with the Liga MX leaders on Sunday by recovering from a goal down to secure a 4-3 home win over 10-man Puebla.
Puebla forward Luifer Hernandez cancelled out Florian Monzon's opener and Jorge Sanchez then gifted the visitors the lead by inadvertently turning the ball into his own net.
A 63rd-minute strike from Kevin Zenon and two goals in 11 minutes from Jose Martin gave the hosts a 4-2 lead, before Omar Moreno netted a late consolation for Puebla.
The visitors were forced to play the last 21 minutes with a numerical disadvantage after Alonso Ramirez was shown a second yellow card for a rash challenge on Zenon.
Atlas now has 24 points from 14 outings, four fewer than leader America, while Puebla has 16 points. ■
