RIO DE JANEIRO, Oct. 20 (Xinhua) -- Boca Juniors advanced to the Copa Sudamericana final on Tuesday with a 3-1 away win over Vasco da Gama.
Lautaro Di Lollo and Miguel Merentiel struck first-half goals to give the visitors a 2-0 lead on the night.
Jose Luis Rodriguez pulled a goal back just after the hour before Leandro Paredes put the result beyond doubt by combining with Milton Delgado and lashing a low drive past Leo Jardim.
Vasco controlled 60 percent of possession and had only two shots on target against an organized Boca defense.
The result gave the Argentine side a 3-2 win on aggregate following Vasco's 1-0 first-leg victory in Buenos Aires last week.
Boca will play either Atletico Mineiro or Montevideo City Torque in the final next month. Endtiem
