BEIJING, Sept. 15 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 jolted off the coast of Michoacan, Mexico at 2038 GMT on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 15.09 degrees north latitude and 104.44 degrees west longitude. ■
