HANOI, Sept. 9 (Xinhua) -- Vietnam exported about 192,000 tonnes of pepper worth 1.25 billion U.S. dollars in the first eight months of 2026, Vietnam Television reported on Wednesday, citing the General Statistics Office.
Pepper export volume rose 15.3 percent year on year during the period, while export value increased 10.4 percent, the report said.
The United States, Germany and Thailand were the three largest markets for Vietnamese pepper, according to the report. ■
