HANOI, Sept. 7 (Xinhua) -- Two people were killed in a fire at a six-story hotel in Tan Son Nhi Ward in Vietnam's southern hub Ho Chi Minh City on Monday morning, local media VnExpress reported.
The fire broke out inside the hotel at around 5 a.m., leaving two people dead from smoke inhalation and several others injured, according to the report.
Firefighters and more than a dozen personnel were dispatched to the scene, while a section of the road was cordoned off as emergency operations were carried out.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. ■
