BEIJING, Aug. 29 (Xinhua) --Wuhan Three Towns boosted their survival hopes with a 5-1 rout of Qingdao Hainiu on Saturday, while Zhejiang FC crushed Yunnan Yukun 6-0 in the 25th round of the Chinese Super League.

In a key relegation battle, bottom side Qingdao Hainiu made an aggressive start at home, but Wuhan gradually took control and broke the deadlock in the 28th minute when Gustavo Sauer curled a free kick into the net.

Wuhan doubled its lead 12 minutes later. Sauer won possession with a well-timed interception before setting up Jhonder Cadiz, who cut inside and curled a shot into the far corner.

Qingdao switched to a two-forward formation after the break in an effort to fight back, but Wuhan remained composed. Sauer headed home in the 61st minute before Kilian Bevis and Cadiz added further goals to put the visitors 5-0 ahead.

Qingdao's Wei Zixian was sent off after receiving two yellow cards, and the 10-man hosts managed only a consolation goal in stoppage time as they slumped to an eighth straight defeat.

Zhejiang, meanwhile, produced a record-breaking performance at home.

Marko Tolic opened the scoring just two minutes into the match before Alexandru Mitrita struck in the fourth, 29th and 39th minutes to complete a first-half hat trick. Park Jin-seob added another in stoppage time as Zhejiang took a 5-0 lead into the break.

Tao Qianglong scored seconds after the restart to complete the 6-0 rout and end Zhejiang's three-match winless run. The margin of victory was the biggest in the club's CSL history and the largest in the league this season.

Elsewhere, Tianjin Jinmen Tiger drew 1-1 with Qingdao West Coast, Chengdu Rongcheng defeated Liaoning Tieren 2-1, Henan FC drew 1-1 with Chongqing Tonglianglong, Dalian Yingbo drew 1-1 with Beijing Guoan, Shandong Taishan edged Shanghai Shenhua 3-2, and Shanghai Port beat Shenzhen Peng City 1-0.
