BEIJING, Aug. 16 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 jolted Western Caroline Islands at 2253 GMT on Saturday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 86.1 km, was initially determined to be at 9.66 degrees north latitude and 138.41 degrees east longitude. ■
