BEIJING, Aug. 3 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.3 jolted Central Peru at 0142 GMT on Monday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 8.48 degrees south latitude and 75.79 degrees west longitude. ■
