KABUL, July 27 (Xinhua) -- More than 1,800 Afghan nationals returned to their homeland through the Torkham, Spin Boldak, and Islam Qala border crossings on Sunday, local media TOLOnews reported Monday.
The returnees received cash assistance, healthcare services, transportation and SIM cards upon arrival, the report said.
Afghan authorities have continued providing humanitarian support to returning migrants amid a steady influx from neighboring countries. ■
