TEHRAN, July 23 (Xinhua) -- Explosions were heard early Thursday in Iran's southern provinces of Hormozgan and Khuzestan, state-run IRIB news agency reported.
The report said several blasts were heard in Sirik County in Hormozgan province, while a site near the city of Ahvaz in Khuzestan was targeted in a U.S. missile attack. ■
