KIEV, July 14 (Xinhua) -- Ukraine's parliament on Tuesday approved the resignation of Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, its press service reported.
The move passed with 258 lawmakers voting in favor, surpassing the required majority of 226.
Svyrydenko announced her resignation on Sunday after President Volodymyr Zelensky said the government would undergo a reshuffle as part of efforts to implement the country's updated political strategy.
Svyrydenko took office as prime minister in July 2025. ■
