BEIJING, July 12 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.1 jolted 89 km northeast of Hihifo, Tonga at 1533 GMT on Saturday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 15.31 degrees south latitude and 173.29 degrees west longitude. ■
