CONAKRY, June 29 (Xinhua) -- The baccalaureate exam for the 2026 session officially began on Monday across Guinea, with 94,392 candidates registered in examination centers nationwide, said the Ministry of National Education, Literacy, Technical Education and Vocational Training.
The examinations, which represent the final stage of national exams before entry into higher education, run from Monday to Friday.
Educational authorities have deployed supervisory teams in examination centers to ensure the smooth conduct of the tests. The session is held under the slogan "Zero tolerance," reflecting the authorities' determination to combat cheating and ensure the credibility of national examinations.
Security forces have also been deployed around examination centers to ensure the safety of candidates and staff involved in organizing the exams. ■
