Four months after the deadly bombing on a girls' school in Iran's Minab, critics fear that the U.S. may bury the truth, the Guardian reported.
According to the report, the #Pentagon has reportedly concluded its investigation into the incident, which killed around 170 schoolchildren, but no findings have been released.
"I believe Hegseth and Trump are both going to do everything they can to suppress this investigation," said Wes Bryant, former chief of civilian harm assessments at the Pentagon. Those who oversee civilian harm reduction at the Pentagon had been prevented from seeing the preliminary results of the investigation, he said.
Yassamin Ansari, an Iranian-American congresswoman, said she had demanded answers about the strike and "gotten little to no response."
"The U.S. strike in Minab is one of the most horrific episodes of the entire illegal Trump war in Iran," she added.
