KABUL, June 17 (Xinhua) -- A water supply network was inaugurated in the underdeveloped Uruzgan province, south of Afghanistan on Tuesday, reported the official Radio and Television of Afghanistan (RTA) on Wednesday.
Constructed at a cost of nearly 10 million afghani (around 156,000 U.S. dollars) in Chinarto district, the project provides clean water to 395 families, the official media outlet added.
The government would do its best to manage water resources and provide potable water to citizens elsewhere in the country, RTA further said. ■
