KATHMANDU, June 12 (Xinhua) -- Eight people died after a passenger bus veered off a cliff in Nepal's Kavrepalanchok district on Friday, a police officer said.
"We have recovered eight dead bodies from the accident site," Rabin Bista, information officer at the district police, told Xinhua.
There were 15 people injured, including the driver, he said. Four of the injured are in serious condition.
The police said they have yet to ascertain the exact number of people on board the bus. They are also investigating the cause of the accident. ■
