BEIJING, June 7 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted near east coast of Honshu, Japan at 1852 GMT on Saturday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 56.5 km, was initially determined to be at 40.26 degrees north latitude and 142.38 degrees east longitude. ■
