BEIJING, June 6 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.7 jolted Banda Sea at 1557 GMT on Friday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 141.7 km, was initially determined to be at 7.84 degrees south latitude and 127.27 degrees east longitude. ■
