BEIJING, May 26 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 6.1 jolted northern Chile at 2152 GMT on Monday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.

The epicenter, with a depth of 152 km, was initially determined to be at 22.47 degrees south latitude and 68.85 degrees west longitude. ■
