ABU DHABI, May 19 (Xinhua) -- The defense ministry of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) said Tuesday that its air defense systems have intercepted and destroyed six drones originating from Iraq over the past 48 hours.
It said the drones attempted to target civilian areas and vital facilities in the UAE. ■
