NEW DELHI, May 13 (Xinhua) -- Four newly born cheetah cubs were found dead in central India's Kuno National Park, confirmed a senior official associated with the country's "Cheetah Project" on Tuesday.
The Kuno National Park is situated in India's central state of Madhya Pradesh. The dead cubs were one month old, and their bodies were found in a partially eaten condition. Apparently, they were attacked by another animal.
The cubs were last observed alive during the evening of May 5 and the mother cheetah is safe and healthy. Further details will be known after post-mortem examination and detailed investigation, according to the official. ■
