BEIJING, May 13 (Xinhua) -- A literature forum bringing together more than 60 writers and scholars from across the Taiwan Strait was held in Beijing on Wednesday.
Participants exchanged insights on Chinese culture and literary development at the literature forum of the 2026 Cross-Strait Chinese Culture Summit.
They noted that literature serves as a shared cultural and spiritual bond linking people on both sides of the Strait, adding that deeper exchanges would help writers inspire creativity and produce more outstanding works.
A book promotion event focusing on young people from Taiwan pursuing their dreams on the mainland was also held during the forum. ■
