ALMATY, May 12 (Xinhua) -- Kazakh Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov said Tuesday that Kazakhstan aims to increase its non-resource exports to 52 billion U.S. dollars under its Trade Policy Concept through 2030.
Speaking at the Berne Union Spring Meeting in Astana, Bektenov said about 4,000 Kazakh products are currently exported to 127 countries worldwide.
The event, the first Berne Union forum held in Central Asia, brought together around 240 delegates from more than 70 countries.
Berne Union members supported 3.7 trillion dollars in cross-border trade in 2025, accounting for about 13 percent of global cross-border trade turnover, according to a statement published by the Kazakh prime minister's press service.
The Berne Union, based in London, is an international nonprofit organization that brings together major export credit and investment insurers. ■
