GENEVA, May 8 (Xinhua) -- FIFA released its latest futsal world rankings on Friday, with Brazil retaining the top spot in both the men's and women's categories.
A total of 321 men's matches and 84 women's matches have been played since the previous rankings were issued in December 2025.
The top seven positions in the men's rankings remain unchanged, with Brazil leading ahead of Portugal, Spain, Argentina, Iran, Morocco and Russia.
In the women's rankings, Brazil continues to lead the field, followed by Spain, Portugal, Argentina, Italy and Japan.
FIFA launched its first official futsal world rankings in May 2024. ■
