PHNOM PENH, May 7 (Xinhua) -- Cambodia exported a total of 469,909 tonnes of milled rice in the first four months of 2026, up 66 percent from 282,315 tonnes over the same period last year, the Cambodia Rice Federation said in a news release on Thursday.
The Southeast Asian country made 266.3 million U.S. dollars in revenue from the exports of the commodity during the January-April period this year, up 27 percent from 209 million dollars over the same period last year, the news release said.
Forty-eight companies had shipped the kingdom's milled rice to 60 countries and regions, the news release said, adding that ASEAN, China and the European Union were the major importers of the Cambodian rice. ■
