BUENOS AIRES, May 6 (Xinhua) -- Independiente Rivadavia secured a place in the Copa Libertadores round of 16 on Wednesday after a 1-1 home draw with Fluminense.
Alex Arce put the hosts ahead with a 66th-minute header before John Kennedy equalized with a long-range strike in stoppage time.
Rivadavia now has 10 points from four games and is five points clear of second-placed Bolivar with two group matches remaining.
In Bogota, Gustavo Henrique struck late as Corinthians salvaged a 1-1 draw at Santa Fe.
Hugo Rodallega opened the scoring with a clinical finish just before the hour, but Henrique headed in a stoppage-time equalizer.
In other Copa Libertadores fixtures on Wednesday, Deportes Tolima won 3-0 at home to Nacional Montevideo, Universidad Catolica was held to a goalless home draw by Cruzeiro, Estudiantes drew 1-1 at Cusco and Deportivo La Guaira drew 1-1 at home to Bolivar. ■
