BEIJING, April 29 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted Samar, the Philippines, at 2258 GMT on Tuesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 95.9 km, was initially determined to be at 12.48 degrees north latitude and 125.40 degrees east longitude. ■
