MOSCOW, April 28 (Xinhua) -- The Kremlin said Tuesday that Ukraine had targeted oil storage facilities with reserves designated for export in a recent drone attack, warning that the strike would worsen shortages in global oil markets.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the strike hit oil reserves in the port city of Tuapse that were meant to fulfill export contracts.
He added that such actions are worsening shortages in global oil markets, which are already facing significant challenges due to the situation in the Strait of Hormuz, and are further destabilizing global energy markets. ■
