BEIJING, April 27 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 jolted Afghanistan-Tajikistan border region at 0646 GMT on Monday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 83.2 km, was initially determined to be at 37.20 degrees north latitude and 71.53 degrees east longitude. ■
