MOSCOW, April 22 (Xinhua) -- Two people were killed and 12 others injured after a residential building partly collapsed following Ukrainian drone attacks in the city of Syzran in Russia's Samara region, local authorities said Wednesday.
Samara Governor Vyacheslav Fedorishchev said drones struck two apartment buildings in Syzran on Wednesday morning, causing one building's entrance to collapse.
He added that three of the injured were hospitalized, while the others received outpatient medical treatment.
The bodies of the two fatal victims were recovered from the rubble, the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations said, adding that the preliminary information indicates no more people remain trapped. ■
