BUDAPEST, April 12 (Xinhua) -- Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban admitted defeat in the parliamentary elections on Sunday and congratulated the opposition party Tisza, according to local media's live broadcast.
With 60.24 percent of the votes counted by the National Election Office, Tisza secured 52.8 percent of the vote, projecting to win 136 seats. Orban's ruling coalition of Fidesz and the Christian Democratic People's Party (KDNP) received 38.55 percent and is projected to win 56 seats. ■
