KABUL, April 9 (Xinhua) -- Afghan authorities have implemented development projects worth 4.7 million U.S. dollars in northern Afghanistan's Baghlan province, reported the official news agency Bakhtar on Thursday.
The essential projects, which included 17 water supply networks, a water canal for irrigation of farmlands, protective walls and roads, have been implemented at a cost of 301 million afghani (about 4.7 million U.S. dollars) in parts of the province over the past year, the media outlet added.
Similarly, 500 acres of land have been allocated for building an industrial park in the neighboring Samangan province. ■
