MOSCOW, April 5 (Xinhua) -- Russian forces have carried out strikes on Ukrainian military-related infrastructure across multiple areas, the Russian Defense Ministry said Sunday.
According to the ministry, the raids targeted the infrastructure of military airfields, assembly workshops for fixed-wing unmanned aerial vehicles, and fuel and energy facilities used by Ukrainian armed forces.
The strikes also hit temporary deployment points of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries in 148 locations, the ministry said.
Meanwhile, Russian air defense systems have shot down five guided aerial bombs and 293 fixed-wing drones over the past day, it added. ■
