BEIJING, April 2 (Xinhua) -- A 7.4-magnitude earthquake hit the Maluku Strait in Indonesia at 6:48 a.m. Thursday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 1.20 degrees north latitude and 126.35 degrees east longitude. The quake struck at a depth of 30 km, said the CENC. ■
