BEIJING, April 2 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said Thursday that China stands ready to work with Bahrain to promote the end of war, restore peace and achieve lasting stability in the Middle East.
Wang, also a member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, made the remarks in a phone call with Bahraini Foreign Minister Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani. ■
