WASHINGTON, March 30 (Xinhua) -- The United States struck a large ammunition depot in the Iranian city of Isfahan using 2,000-pound bunker-buster bombs, the Wall Street Journal reported late Monday, citing an official.
A significant number of bunker-buster bombs, or penetrator munitions, were deployed in the strike, the official said.
U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday night posted an uncaptioned video on Truth Social showing a chain of explosions lighting up the night sky, which the official said captured the attack.
The United States said its forces had struck more than 10,000 Iranian military sites over the past month, while Israel's military said it had hit over 3,000 Iran-related targets. ■
