BEIJING, March 30 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 jolted Tonga Islands at 2345 GMT on Sunday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 127.2 km, was initially determined to be at 16.43 degrees south latitude and 173.18 degrees west longitude. ■
