MOSCOW, March 21 (Xinhua) -- Three people were killed and four others injured in a traffic accident in Russia's Rostov region, authorities said on Saturday.
"A report was received at 12:25 Moscow time (0925 GMT) that a fuel tanker had collided with four passenger cars at the 34-km mark of the R-280 highway," the Rostov regional directorate of Russia's Ministry of Emergency Situations said in a statement.
The fuel tanker caught fire in the crash, local authorities said, adding that the injured were taken to medical facilities. ■
