BEIJING, March 18 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.0 jolted Vanuatu Islands at 2327 GMT on Tuesday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 81 km, was initially determined to be at 14.84 degrees south latitude and 167.23 degrees east longitude. ■
