The Dingzhou Half Marathon debuted in 2023 in Dingzhou City, Hebei Province. Its medals are made using the craft of Ding porcelain, one of the Five Great Kilns of the Song Dynasty with a history of more than 1,000 years, attracting runners from across the country each year.
The 2026 race medal was co-designed by several inheritors of intangible cultural heritage, and its lanyard is also handwoven. The organizing committee hopes to create a distinctive sports and cultural keepsake that will leave runners with a lasting memory of the race.
