BEIJING, March 13 (Xinhua) -- An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 jolted Bismarck Sea at 2158 GMT on Thursday, the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10 km, was initially determined to be at 3.37 degrees south latitude and 149.79 degrees east longitude. ■
