JERUSALEM, March 10 (Xinhua) -- Israel's military said Tuesday it had completed a series of airstrikes in Lebanon targeting the Al-Qard Al-Hassan, a Hezbollah-affiliated financial institution.
The strikes targeted assets and storage facilities belonging to the association, the military said in a statement.
Israel says Hezbollah uses Al-Qard Al-Hassan as a financial arm to fund weapons purchases and pay its fighters.
In earlier strikes on March 2, Israel also targeted assets of the association in southern and eastern Lebanon. ■
