AMMAN, March 7 (Xinhua) -- An unidentified object fell in northern Jordan's Irbid Governorate on Friday afternoon, according to Jordan's Public Security Directorate (PSD).
Security teams immediately arrived at the site and preliminarily discovered that the object was the remnants of an explosive device, said a PSD spokesperson.
No injuries or material damage were reported, and local authorities were called to the scene to begin handling the debris in accordance with safety procedures. ■
